Amazing Fantasy #15  

When a book did not sell on the newstand, it was common practice to strip the logo and return it for a credit on the next shipment of books.  This Amazing Fantasy 15 is just such a "newstand return".  The restoration of this copy began with removing the cover, leaf-casting and infilling of the missing areas, recreation of the missing artwork on both the front and interior front cover, recoating of the inpainted areas, refolding and reassembly.
