I removed the brittle and aged tape from the cover. I then removed the remaining adhesive and staining from the cover areas. The interior centerfolds were stuck together by yet another adhesive and not able to be opened. I determined the nature of the adhesive used on the interiors, treated the adhesive, removed any residual adhesive and separated the folios. The cover and centerfolds were reinforced and the spine roll was removed through pressing of each folio. The final book was refolded and pressed once more.
